Terms and Conditions

Wash, Dry, Reproofing:

Please refer to the Home page for information regarding Wash, Dry and Reproofing.

We only use large commercial washing machines that have been programmed to give the best results.  We only air dry rugs to prevent any damage or shrinkage.

All quotations are for a limited timeframe. 

Suddy Rugs will endeavour to keep all prices as cost effective as possible, however, does reserve the right to increase prices in line with the cost of living, economy and inflation.

 

Repairs:

All rugs must be cleaned prior to any repairs being carried out.  No work will be undertaken to repair a dirty rug without it being cleaned first.  Dirty/Dusty rugs damage the sewing machine and blunt the needles, this will not be considered at any cost.

For repairs that are noticed during the cleaning process, you will be contacted to approve the repair (no repair will be undertaken without the client's agreement) and you will be given a quote of what is necessary, and you can decide whether to go ahead or not.   We will advise you if the repair is economically viable or not.

Suddy Rugs will do everything in their power to keep the cost of repairs down and where possible will use secondhand products and materials (unless the client instructs otherwise) which will be from recycled, damaged rugs that have been washed and reproofed ready for dismantling and recycling.  We will do everything we can to colour match wherever possible, however, cannot guarantee that the colour will be an exact match or the same material; this will depend on the recycled rugs that are in stock.

Payment:

All serviced items MUST be paid for prior to delivery.  No items will be returned to the customer on a credit basis.

Suddy Rugs offers a number of ways to pay:

  • BACS, Bank Transfer can be made once work is complete, prior to return delivery

  • Cash, prior to any work carried out, on collection of the items

  • Credit/Debit Card, Mastercard, Visa, on collection or once work is complete, prior to return delivery

  • Paypal, on collection or once work is complete, prior to return delivery

  • Apple Pay, tap your phone or card on collection or access the app for payment prior to delivery

  • Google pay, tap your phone or card on collection or access the app for payment prior to delivery

Delivery and Collection:

Rugs will not be delivered until full payment has been received. 

​

All Rugs will be returned to you as soon as possible after payment has been received.   A suitable delivery date will be arranged with you within the delivery zone areas and timeframe.  Suddy Rugs is committed to return your rugs within an acceptable timeframe, however, due to delivery zones, area specifics, and your payment timeframe, this may be a few days or a few weeks.  Please ensure that you have accounted for this when requesting your rugs to be collected for service.

All Rugs will be individually tagged and documented by Suddy Rugs on collection.  These tags stay with the rug from collection to delivery and throughout the wash/repair cycle.

We will always photograph your rug on delivery and send you a WhatsApp message of where it will be located and what condition it has been left in with delivery time, and location information.

​

If someone else on your yard is responsible for arranging the collection of your rugs, the full responsibility lies between yourself and them to ensure that you have given clear instruction to your requirements.  Please make sure that you allow Suddy Rugs to have your mobile number to enable us to contact you regarding anything to do with your serviceable items.

NonPayment and Storage:

Should rugs be uncollected, an invoice not acknowledged,  or a non-payment is received, rugs will be stored for a maximum of 3 weeks where a £5.00 per item, per week storage fee will be charged.  After 3 weeks, Suddy Rugs reserves the right to sell the rugs for reimbursement of the costs that we have incurred. 

Obviously, charges will not be incurred if payment has been received but delivery is not due until a date in the near future due to delivery scheduling zones.

Your details will only be used for the purpose of contacting you to arrange delivery and collection.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AN CONDITIONS OUTLINED ABOVE BEFORE CONTACTING SUDDY RUGS AND ENTERING INTO A SERVICE CONTRACT WITH THEM. 

NO RESPONSIBILITY WILL BE TAKEN BY SUDDY RUGS IF YOU HAVE NOT READ AND AGREED TO THE ABOVE STATEMENTS.

These Terms and Conditions will also be on the back of any invoices sent out to customers and you may be asked to sign a T&C agreement prior to Suddy Rugs undertaking any service.
